Puppy Photo Shoot at Sapphire Point

Sapphire Point Overlook is located between Keystone and Breckenridge in Summit County. It sits at at an elevation of 9,500 feet and features spectacular views of Dillon Reservoir and the surrounding Gore and Tenmile mountain ranges.   

I met up with Hannah and her 5 month old Golden Retriever, Ryder at Sapphire Point in Dillon, Colorado for an amazing summer puppy photo shoot. Ryder was full of exuberant Golden energy that was so much fun to work with! He was so incredibly sweet and Hannah has done an absolutely amazing job with him. We couldn’t asked for a more beautiful evening as the sun set over Lake Dillon and the surrounding peaks.

Thanks to the gentle 0.6 loop trail and easily accessible views the overlook is an incredibly popular stop for tourists (and as a small wedding venue as well), so this location is best suited for dogs who are completely comfortable with both people and other dogs.
