Colorado Dog Hikes: Pawnee Buttes

Lovely glorious solitude in a remote corner of Colorado’s eastern plains. We didn’t see a single soul on a Saturday morning and lucked out with near perfect weather conditions for such an exposed location. I imagine that it’d be pretty brutal in the summer. Be sure to bring plenty of water and sunscreen — you’re completely exposed to the elements the entire time.
