Bring On The Wiggle Butts, Crazy Zoomies, & Grass Rollin’

So often we experience our dogs through the hum of daily routines, blurry phone photos, and whirlwind outings. They’re crazy, silly, cuddly, and so cute that simply watching them sleep makes our hearts swell. This experience is a chance for you to take a step back from everyday life. Escape into nature. And enjoy the special bond you’ve fostered.

At the end of the day this isn’t a sit & stay session, this is a go & play outing for the both of you.

You’re making memories in an incredible place. And I’m there so you have beautiful photographs to remember it by.

Here’s How I’ll Capture You Two Living the Good Life

• We’ll email about your dog’s needs, behaviors, and treat preferences.

• We’ll choose a gorgeous location according to your dog’s needs where they will be the most comfortable and safe.

• We’ll meet when the light is exceptionally dreamy. As we walk and talk your dog will become acclimated to my presence.

• We find a quiet spot where we can play and relax. I’ll hook them up to a long line and let them be their goofiest, cutest, doggiest self.

Oh! And treats. Lots of treats.

Allison is a joy to work with!

“Allison takes AMAZING photos of my dogs and I wish I could just cart her everywhere we go! She's always so easy to work with...she's so respectful of dog's wishes and personalities and it truly comes through in her photos how comfortable she makes them. She's always a joy to work with even when I feel like a hot mess trying to juggle too many dogs and she somehow manages to get magic out of every situation!”

What If My Dog Has To Be On-Leash?

The Question On Every Dog Owner’s Mind

From park romps near home to alpine lake adventures, Colorado provides us with some of the most incredible scenery to enjoy—understandably the appearance of leashes can ruin that vibe! What if I told you that in the majority of the photos you see on my page the dogs were wearing leashes? Yep, all it takes is some photoshop magic and your pup is set free! That way in real life we can keep them safe and adhere to any leash laws.

Other Concerns & Questions

  • It is important that photo shoots are physically accessible for all, so I’ve found the best dog friendly locations with beautiful views that are only a stone's throw away from parking lot trailheads. Contrary to how it may look, 99% of the time we’re hiking no more than a half mile. I’ll curate a list of locations that will accommodate your overall vision and mobility.

  • Absolutely! I’ve worked with a wide variety of temperaments and have developed techniques for working with dogs who need more space and/or time to settle in and warm up. If you have any concerns ahead of time please let me know and I’m happy to discuss them with you.

  • Yes! I encourage you to be in at least a few photos with your pets. You wouldn’t believe the amount of people that don’t plan on being in the photos, but upon snapping a few candids during the shoot those photos almost always end up being their favorites!

  • If your dog needs to be groomed, do so a week before so their coat can settle (we all know how a super fresh cut can look a little off). And spend that week beforehand brushing up on any tricks and obedience skills. Then the day of your session, if your dog is a busy body, try to take them on a walk before we meet to get those initial squirrelies out.

Nothing beats walking up to your session feeling confident in handing over the leash and simply enjoying the waggy-tailed adventure ahead.

Our puppy was more than chaotic, and Allison worked through the craziness like a pro!

“Allison is amazing!! From the planning process to executing the shoot, she made everything so easy! Allison recommended a gorgeous location to take family photos with our new puppy and came so prepared with extra treats and a long lead. Our puppy was more than chaotic, and Allison worked through the craziness like a pro!"

Pants covered in dog hair.

Exhausted in the most fulfilling way.

Winding through the Rocky Mountains headed home.

And looking into the side mirror seeing that little snoot sniffing the wind.

Seems like the end of a pretty wonderful day AND you'll have pictures that will retell it for years.
