Paws, Peaks and a Proposal

This fall I got the chance to be part of an absolutely incredible photo session! Heather, Zach, and their two adorable pups, Lux and Nox, made the trek from the Midwest to Colorado and wanted some photos together while they were on vacation.

Now, picture this: sunrise’s soft, golden light painting the rugged Rockies in a dreamy glow, turning everything into a masterpiece of colors and contrasts. As we wandered through the rocky terrain, Lux and Nox’s excitement was downright contagious. But it wasn't your average adventure session—it was the backdrop for a proposal.

Right as the sun crested over the Continental Divide, Zach dropped to one knee, with Lux and Nox right by their side. Moments like these remind me why I love capturing these unique stories against such a breathtaking backdrop. I can’t thank Heather and Zach enough for trusting me to capture this once-in-a-lifetime moment!
