Miko and Cash are two Portuguese Water Dogs from Fort Collins. I had always heard of the breed, but nothing prepared me for how enthusiastic and fun-loving they are! In addition to our regular session, we decided to mix it up a little with some portraits against a black background…

Last weekend I had the pleasure of photographing Allison, a brain tumor survivor and founder of The Stink Bug Project, and Pythagorus, a Saint Bernard battling bone cancer, for 2 Million Dogs Cancer Heroes program. Together they will serve as grand marshal for this year’s Puppy Up! walk in Denver.
This year’s event will be held in Denver’s Stapleton Central Park and promises to be a fantastic time. In addition to the walk there will be plenty of pet-centric vendors, demos, music, contests, prizes and more! Proceeds raised from this event will benefit the study of canine cancer and comparative oncology. I was fortunate enough to photograph last year’s walk in Fort Collins and am excited to have been asked back this year. Be sure to mark your calendars for November 6th. Check-in begins at 8 am and the walk starts at 10. I look forward to seeing you there!

On the banks of the Poudre River I met up with Spanish Mastiff, Titus. Nothing short of awesome, I was about ready to try and sneak this guy home. Pretty sure someone would have noticed…

Oh Titus, you make my hart sing! Love Odessa
Oh Titus – You are one handsome dog. Nettles
Don’t let the bow and fluffy white fur fool you. Sunny and Chipper were all about adventure on a lovely Denver evening.

On a beautiful evening near the Boulder foothills I was honored to meet up with this remarkable girl and her devoted guardian.
This is Lily.

This summer we did two things: 1. we bought a tent. And 2. we actually used it… more than once. Over Labor Day weekend we made what will probably be our last camping excursion of the year. Scenes from our Steamboat Lake adventure:

Last month I had the opportunity to second shoot a wedding in Estes Park. It was such a fantastic location with a wonderful couple and a family that loves to have fun. Here are just a few images from the day; if you’d like to see more visit Dreaming Green Photography.

We meant to go to Telluride, but ended up in the mountains above Ouray instead.
